Is there any plan to widen Vadapalani- Porur road to decongest peak traffic?

I am regular daily traveller using the above route. For the past three years, this road width is getting narrowed instaed of widening due to encroachments but the traffic is getting increased many fold. Added to that Porur unfinished bridge - Still under initial construction level for the past 2 years- A headache for the daily commuters - When these projects will get improved?
